Castello in Wuppertal

As always a pleasure. Everything is just right here, quality, taste and service. This is how gastronomy has to be.

We had a tapas platter put together again today. It was spectacularly tasty! ?

A good, attractive place. The choice of dishes is suitable for all tastes and the dishes come highly recommended. The meat was cooked to the point the restaurant is in the upper segment, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely okay.

Unfortunately not that good for the price. Mediocre tapas, mediocre but expensive wine, main courses also rather average, the meat was good and tasty. In Wuppertal you get more for the money.

We reserved a table with 9 people, the food was delicious, the service unfortunately very rude and unfriendly .., from 9 p.m. the music was turned off, the drinks order was extremely delayed and the staff made us feel as guests no longer welcome to be, unfortunately .. (opening time until 11 p.m.) It's a shame, we were used to much better and friendlier service at il Castello, we will take a longer il Castello break.

The food is tasty and fresh, but the selection is quite limited. Drinks were now and then slightly too warm (wine, beer). The atmosphere in the restaurant is also pleasant and there is a quite nice terrace. In and of itself good 3 - 4 stars, but: I think the service (owner) sometimes crosses the line between "cheeky-cheeky / quick" to insolence. That's why the Castello gets a break from me first.

Everyone gets full here. Whether vegetarian or normal. Really great food! Fair prices and very nice service! Free parking in front of the house!

The restaurant is excellent from the kitchen! All dishes come fresh on the table. The Serve of the Franke family is courteous ...! ?

The food was quite good. The homemade bread is delicious. The meat skewer was only okay. The amount was too little for me (adult man). The dessert was creative and very tasty!

Good food, the service was a bit difficult. The food tasted good, the portions and the price structure were okay. What was not so good was the service. However, this only applies to the waiting times. As a result of a long wait for ordering and preparation, we had not yet received any food after 1.5 hours. The staff themselves were very friendly and helpful - there was nothing to complain about.

My wife and I were spontaneous and absolutely thrilled! The food was very good and what you could see at the next table looked great too. Although the restaurant was full, the service was still very friendly and fast. The prices are fair and thus we have another recommendable restaurant in Wuppertal! We will definitely be back :)
